Terms and Conditions

Scot Weddings adhere to the following terms and conditions when preparing to create your wedding day DVD.

1. The customer must recieve the consent from the church or wedding venue permitting Scot Weddings within the premises where the wedding ceremony or reception is being held. Scot Weddngs cannot accept any liability due to any conditions imposed upon us by the venue or church operators, including limitation on camera positions.
2. Graphics or audio that you would like included on your DVD must be provided before the day of your wedding.
3. Wedding DVD packages are subject to change. Customers who have a confirmed booking with an agreed cost will not be affected by these changes.
4. A wedding video package may take up to eight weeks to complete although Scot Weddings will make every effort possible to provide you with the final DVD sooner.
5. All wedding DVDs created by Scot Weddings include copyright protection. Authorised duplication of the DVD can only be purchased from Scot Weddings.
6. Scot Weddings will make every effort to ensure each wedding is filmed to a high standard. However we cannot film in extreme weather such as heavy rain or snow. Should our equipment malfunction, resulting in prevention of filming, we will negotiate a partial reduction cost with the customer.
7. A deposit of a £100 is due at the time of booking with the outstanding fee, (£395 + VAT on the gold package, £895 + VAT on the platinum package) is due one month prior to the wedding taking place.
8. Scot Weddings will resolve any production or titling errors provided we are notified by the customer within one calendar month of the original completed DVD being deliverd. Scot Weddings will not accept liability for incorrect notifications for title inclusion.
9. Weddings being filmed outside 50 miles from the Scot Weddings office will be subject to an additional £50 charge.
10. All wedding footage captured by Scot Weddings will remain the property of Scot Weddings and will be used in a manner as we seem appropriate.
11. The laws of Scotland will apply to all contracts entered into by Scot Weddings, including those contracts where the domicile of the enquiry originates outwith Scotland.
